AirVisual API timestamp - how does it work?

Understanding the API timestamp is important for accurately representing the air quality data on your program.

Take care to understand that the timestamp sent by our API is formatted following ISO 8601 format. Here the “Z” at the end of the timestamp indicate that the time displayed is in UTC.

Our supported stations are updated on an hourly basis, but it can happen that they publish their data late, even possibly several hours late. For development purposes, please refer to the data display on our app for reference.
